Sincerely 'Fro Me to You is here again! Welcome! Grab the button and read the rules here.
Today, I thought I'd share a helpful tip.
In our home, once October hits, time seems to quicken and there aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done. And with Thanksgiving and Christmas close on it's heels, well, you know, life gets hectic. Even if we're working on simplifying our lives.
Some of the best things I've learned have been from my kids.
They are smart, little people.
My son is the preoccupied type. He sets his mind to something and works it until completion. He studies his 'to do' list carefully and adds completed items only to cross them off.
I don't know where he gets that from.
I ran across this picture from a couple of years ago. This is how you know you're too busy:
Fall, 2005, Grandparent's farm
When your pants fall down and you're too occupied to pull them up.
So, as autumn sets in and the holidays creep up, remember to slow down.
And remember the little things.
Like your pants.
You're welcome.

LOL! It could be worse, he could be my son who likes to randomly pull down his pants for reactions. Fortunately, he only reserves that for his immediate family members. We are so lucky.
Very cute! And thanks for the helpful tip for the holiday season!
A photo and words to live by!
:-)
Pants are a very important thing to remember. Especially as it starts getting colder out. :)
Did he not feel the cool breeze?!
Did he not feel the cool breeze?!
oh and that is one funny picture! i don't know that i have ever been THAT busy... and my family is thankful! :-)
Cute pic. I don't think I've been so preoccupied that I didn't remember to pull up my pants, but once I forgot to zip them ...
I have so thought to add done items to my To Do List in order to mark them off. hehe.
That is hilarious! It also makes me laugh because I have an issue with my pants staying up. It's not because I am losing weight or anything like that. It's because I have no bootay and my belly is big. Soooo...I have to buy pants to fit my belly and if they slide down a bit my hips won't hold them up.
Is there some sort of a procedure to extract fat from my stomach and place it my backside?
I need to know because it's only a matter of time before I am in Target and my pants fall down. And I may just be like your son and be too preoccupied shopping for clearance items to pull them back up.
Oh my, THANK YOU for the tip! It would be just like me to do something like that.
I know your son will be so thankful for all of these cute stories once he becomes a teenager!
That's the best tip I could ever get. Thanks!
So cute. He is in his own little world.
This is so much like my preschooler!
Actually he pretty much strips down as soon as we get home.
too cute! this will be a great one to save for later - you know to embarrass him in front of his new wife =)
I bet he was going pee pee.... And then forget to pull his pants up. I have 2 boys and we live in the country, so I know what pants around the ankles means, either you are going to the natural bathroom or you are getting totally naked to jump in the mud, because momma would be mad if you got your clothes dirty...
Oh that is too cute and important for all of us to remember. I just checked mine are where they are supposed to be
Boys just seem to amaze me. They have better things to do, then to do something as trivial as pulling up their pants... or throwing wet toilet paper in the trash... (you can see why on my "fro'" entry). I couldn't do a day with out those goofy boys tho... =)
how often do we get "caught with our pants down"???
Cute!
Sorry I didn't get to play along I'll be back next week!
That is too cute! I will try to remember my pants!
Your picture on the bottom of your blog is really sweet!
hahha that is just he picture I needed to see to put a smile on my face!!!! Looks like something my son or my big brother would/would have done!
That is so funny!!!
LOL i have to laugh at that since my son has started takin off his pants every time he walks in the door. It is too funny to watch. He'd rather be in his pull up and a shirt than dressed to the hilt. Love it!
That is SOME focus!
Thanks for doing fun things like this. It's always fun to take a trip down memory lane.
Too Funny! You're so right about this time of year. We do need to remember the little things...
