*UPDATE* Congrats to our random linky winner #114 The Packet Queen
I can't wait to check out your tips this week! I thought I was 100% done and just realized I forgot one. I'm hoping I find a great idea today.
My tip involves do-it-yourself-gifts. I love making my gifts.
I recently discovered freezer paper. I love this stuff because you can do anything with it!
Purchase a roll of freezer paper in your grocery store aisle, next to the tin foil, etc. Print out an image you'd like to put on a shirt for your child or a pillow you're making for a gift.
Lay the freezer paper over the printed image and carefully cut it out. Your freezer paper is now a stencil.
Iron it on to your fabric. Paint. After the image has dried, pull the paper off
Perfection.
I love this stuff! It works for me.
I think these unique letters (put together to spell words) make a wonderful gift! You can buy the letters individually or have Lizzie put them together with a frame for you. The winner will receive their choice of letters (up to 9), framed and ready to keep (or give). This a $90+ value! Please take a minute and visit Tin Lizzie's Photos!
Have a Works-For-Me Wednesday tip you'd like to share? I'd love for you to join us! Please note that the links will close at 9 pm CST tonight, in order to keep away the spammers!

ADORABLE! But, um, what's an iron? ;)
Love this idea!!
I love Tin Lizzies! I have one of my very own in our office! :)
I really need to try this freezer paper trick! It looks so fun! But, I scared! My crafting=scariness!
I have some freezer paper, and haven't used it in yrs, maybe I need to get it out. And that picture is really cool! Thanks so much for hosting!
~Liz
I will have to pick up some! I'd forgotten how versatile it is. I have no site, but love coming here to read you and also Thanks, all!
I am so glad your family had a wonderful cruise/vacation - get-away!
I love homemade gifts. They mean so much more than a $20 gift from Walmart ever could.
But I'm not sure I'll be doing the t-shirt painting as Christmas gifts. I despise plain t-shirts, and my girls would LOVE this project, but I don't want to wait for Christmas. Gonna have to get me some freezer paper very soon!
Oh, I've seen those words spelled with individual pictures! To cute!!!
Love the stencil idea with freezer paper. So clever, and I'd love to win one of Tin Lizzie's photos. Great giveaway. Fingers crossed.
That is a really cool idea!!
Sorry, my link is about chicken. I completely forgot about the theme this week!
Love your tshirts-those r so cute! This is my first time to post-can't wait to see all the ideas-I love home-made gifts.
You're shirts are too cute. Another craft to add to my list! Also I LOVE the photo letters. My parents have given those as wedding gifts recently and I really want one too!
Love the craft idea! I'll have to try that.
Tin Lizzies photos are fab-u-lous! I love how you can pick the different letters and create your own look.
Cute craft project! Thanks for sharing. I love those unique photographed letters! I've seen it at craft fairs before. I would love to win! Thanks for the chance!
I love this idea!
Wow, totally adorable shirts! I'll have to look into that!
I would DEEPLY LOVE to display a tin lizzie piece in my house. fingers crossed :)
I love those family prints!
I need to check the grocery store for freezer paper, I have looked at two big craft stores in our area but haven't found it yet.

I discovered wax paper a while ago and have found lots of uses for it also. I use it often when working with glue or paint which doesn't stick to it. Please enter me in the drawing for Tin Lizzie's photos.
I love the pictures that make up the letters. What a cool idea!
And freezer paper is awesome!
Tin Lizzie's photos look so cool.
Finger crossed here too!
I love those flower tees. Those would make great bday presents for the little girls in our playgroup.
D'oh! I forgot this week was themed. But I love the shirts. I want to do a firetruck or a dog for my little guy.
That freezer paper/stencil tip is amazing! Who knew (certainly not me! :-) ) Thanks for hosting the party!
pk @ Room Remix
I have to admit that I was skeptical about the freezer paper idea, but I cut some in my Cricut and ironed it on a canvas drop cloth and it worked beautifully!! Thanks for the great idea!
I finally found the freezer paper and have been making tons of stencils. It's been a blast. I found that if I take piece and cut it to 8.5x11 I can run it right through my printer and get great initials from Word!
Am I missing something? I don't see the list of links for Mr. Linky.
I just may try this for my nieces. I want to give them something, but don't want to spend much money. I've been trying to think of homemade gifts and this looks like a good one!
How neat I love this!
Thanks for hosting this great party... my first time!
xo,
cristin
You always host a great party! but it seems I am late to it today! I had great intentions of getting my homemade gift post up early, but just couldn't get everything done today.
I'm enjoying the links I've seen so far and hope you can come visit me tomorrow...I'll have my post up for homemade infused oils! (plus great ways to cook with them!)
Love the Tin Lizzy art - especially "family". And I'm going to try the freezer paper stensils.
removed again.... /sigh
