Poloppo Kids Art T-Shirts {Giveaway}

*UPDATED with Winners* Congrats to CatherineB and Cop Mama !!!

My kids love to draw.

So much so, that I recently turned my china hutch into an art center. It sounds fancy (or insane), but I just moved the dishes I rarely use and filled the space with stacks of papers of all colors, pencils, markers and crayons.

I showed you what I do with their special art pieces, but I also love this idea:

T-Me Kit

Poloppo is a company that makes kid's art, wearable.

And I just love that!

They sent me a kit (packaged like the cute one above)to try out. I can't wait to give it to my daughter for her birthday!

My favorite part? The kit comes with everything your child needs to create a wearable work of art: paper, markers, instructions and a prepaid envelope to mail design. The website is very user-friendly and the gallery gives kids a lot of great drawing ideas.

Happy HandprintSparkles

For this do-it-yourself Mom, this is right up my alley.

Go check out the site, leave a comment and tell me what you think your kids would draw. Poloppo is giving away TWO long-sleeve shirt kits ($35 each).

This giveaway ends Monday.

My 3 year old daughter's favorite thing to draw right now is a family picture. I love that she add crazy curly hair on mommy, a baseball cap on daddy and of course she never forgets her dog Milo!

Oh, I would LOVE that!!! I'm sure my son would draw some sort of computer. :)

What a great idea! My oldest daughter would probably draw bugs (she's a self-proclaimed "bug scientist"), while my youngest would most likely draw herself, as a princess (we've seen an awful lot of that lately)!

My little guy would draw an abstract version of Lightning McQueen, Chick Hicks & The King racing for the piston cup.

LOVE this! And, I think both my kiddos would draw a family portrait...that seems to be their favorite thing to draw lately :-)

My daughter would actually draw all three of us. She might squeeze the iguana and cat in, too.

What a fun thing! They where uniforms at their school, but have a free day each month to wear as they choose (within reason.) She would love to wear her art on a free day!

Thanks!

My son would draw colors, lots and lots of colors, which seems to be his favorite these days. My daughter would draw dots and lines (she's 2) in lots of colors. They both seem to be into the abstract art :) They would love the t-shirt though. I hope your daughter enjoys her birthday present!

I love this!
My girls would draw our family. Oh how cute. My oldest daughter has a drawing of a goose, which would be so neat on a shirt!

This would make such a great Christmas gift for my two artists! My oldest daughter would probably draw dogs or animals of some kind. She's my future vet. : )

My youngest would have a princess or fashionista of some kind. My favorite of her recent artwork has been drawings of her and me with hearts. She makes me so skinny and puts on high heels and pretty dresses. : ) There would definitely be pink in there somewhere.

Thanks for the chance to win.

These are so neat! I would ask my son to draw a B (his initial) and whatever else he wants.

Oooh...now THAT is going down as a birthday gift idea! And I love the idea of re-using the china hutch. just fyi..I use magazine holders (you know, the card board ones?) to hold colored paper..works well, and you can group the paper according to color.

My youngest would probaly draw a butterfly- she is into that lately. The oldest? its a wild card- she LOVES to draw, and it could be anything...but she is big into peace symbols these days so if she knew it was going on a shirt..that is probably what it would be!

They would definitely draw a space scene, or dinosaurs, or our family, or a self portrait of them sticking their tongues out. (They love high art)

My little girl's favorite thing right now is ladybugs, so I'm sure that's what she'd draw. Thanks for the chance to win.

Jacob just came home from his Mother's Day Out with a beautiful painting of himself and our dog, Dixie. Too bad it's not on the special paper for one of these t-shirts! It would make a perfect one. Hmm...maybe I could get him to recreate it!

My 3 year has been doing a lot of drawing of flowers, herself, and sometimes family. My boys? Probably some sort of bionicle thing.

My daughter did this type of thing in school a couple of years ago...she drew a 3 toed sloth on the front and on the back was the report she wrote about the 3 toed sloth. Such a great idea. No sloths now though. She would be drawing horses for sure.

Amy@theredheaddiaries.blogspot.com said...

My daughter would draw hearts and stars...everything is hearts and stars lately :) Awesome idea!!!

Carlee said...

So fun! Dinosaurs, flowers, leaves, hands, princessess...whatever struck them at the moment!

Jennifer said...

This looks like so much fun! My kids are constantly creating things. My little one would probably make an animal like a cow or a duck with his own particular style. My older son would probably create a battle scene.

catherine B said...

This is a great idea - my kids would be thrilled to see their art on a t-shirt or product. I bet my son (7) would draw something nerf related and my daughter (5) either a self-portrait or a princess.

My girls are amazing artists. Not a day goes by that I am not amazed at a drawing, painting or crafty piece of work they've brought me. I'd be hard pressed to choose just one!

Brandi said...

Um, both my boys would draw something STAR WARS for sure!!

And sadly, my 4 yr. old daughter might draw Sponge Bob, but I would gently encourage her to maybe draw a princess or a rainbow or a flower, just so long as it wasn't SPONGE BOB!!!!

Lori said...

I LOVE this! My 5 year old is into drawing hearts with lines coming out of it right now. She also likes drawing a cicle with her sister's name in it and a line through it - though I don't think that would be suitable for a t-shirt. ;) Thanks!

Patti said...

This would be great for my niece!
She is always drawing at my house and I would bet she would draw Spongebob.

My son always draws pictures of people. He would love this!

I'm sure my son would come up with a star wars themed "mission" to draw, with droids

So cute!! My daughter would draw something to do with sports; Son #1 would draw a tank or an airplane, Son #2 would copy whatever Son #1 drew!!

Great product!
My Sunshine lives, I mean loves, cars...he has been drawing his dream car lately. My Angel gets lost in drawing dinosaurs. Miss Thang at the age of 3 is proving to be a part of abstract expressionism, although maybe it's because she's 3. Birdy - he just eats crayons!

aggiemomof2 said...

My son is perfecting his dinosaur so that would be his first choice! What a cute idea!

I saw something like this at a folk art festival, but I think she printed them on squares for quilts. I think this would be perfect for my budding artist. He would probably draw some of his creatures that he makes up.

Amy @ Finer Things said...

What a fantastic idea. I've never heard of such a thing. My daughter would draw some elaborate castle/princess scene. :)

mytmagnolia said...

Very cute site! My oldest two would love wearing their own art. My 9 yr old would draw a nature scene. She really enjoys drawing things she sees on our family hikes. For my 7 yr old it would be our family. She is delopmentally delayed and draws much like a toddler but we know what it is. Thanks for sharing a great idea for gifts.

Tracey said...

We are still into scribbling around here, but would love a t-shirt with their very own scribbles!

This is such a great thing. My five year old is getting more interested in drawing lately. Her favorite thing to draw is a girl with curly hair (like her), a bow on top and a triangle dress with a heart in the middle. She is definitely noticing the details in her life and I love seeing them in her drawings.

Jane Anne said...

My boys always draw some kind of battle. I'd probably try to convince them to draw a picture of "SuperMom" saving the day. My oldest gave me a picture like that and it is a treasure to me.

What a fun giveaway!

My 3 little musketeers would draw a pic of all three of them together. They are definitely in different stages of life and don't always get along as they are 5, 7 and 12 years old. BUT...nobody else better pick on any of them or the 3 musketeers are on the case! ;)

peace,
Donna

Go for it, ladies! When my now-high-schooler was in kindergarten, his art teacher arranged for orders of mugs, t-shirts, and more. We have a great "stick family pic" of of everyone wearing red cowboy boots. Including the cat. We're city folk. It was immortalized on a t-shirt and note cards, which I treasure!

Kristi_runwatch said...

My daughter tends to like to paint "designs" rather than a recognizable picture, so I'm sure she would love to have a fancy shirt with one of her picasso paintings!

We made t-shirts when she was 2 using paint, stencils, and a plain white shirt; a year and a half later she still loves it and wears it all the time!!

My 3 year old is all about drawing circles!

Cathy said...

My 4 yr old is kind of anti-drawing, so he would just make an orange square because orange is his daddy's favorite color. My 6 yr old has been drawing a lot of mermaids and fairies recently so I'm sure we would see one or both of those on her shirt.

Carri said...

My daughter would definitely draw a house. My son would probably draw anything with wheels or an animal since he is now obsessed with farmville on facebook.

I already have two pictures I would love to *wear* that my sons have created. I love when they do their own renditions of famous art works. Frankly, I always prefer theirs! Imagine! ;-)

Thank you!

My son would draw a picture of Indiana Jones saving the day and I'm sure he'd love wearing a shirt with his own artwork on it. He changes his clothes so he can become a hero at least 200 times a day! This sounds great! Thanks.

Gigi said...

Sorry, that last comment should have said my son changes his clothes at least 20 times a day! Not 200.

I'm fairly certain my daughter would be drawing Ariel from The Little Mermaid. She likes to draw her with Flounder and a boat. She would absolutely love to wear her art as she has to show it off to others all the time! What a fun gift.

My baby would draw an animal but there is no telling what animal (it changes by the minute)!

My five year old daughter would love this! She is the proud co-owner of a new lab puppy named Bailey. She has been drawing pictures of the puppy for 2 days now including decorating the dog cage for Bailey's viewing pleasure! I'm sure she would proudly wear a shirt to show Bailey off since the idea of taking her to school everyday was NOT an option!
