Double Digits {Giveaway}

Random Number Generator picked lucky no. 8! Congrats to Lauren of Team Giles. You won!

Today, I've been a parent for 10 years. A decade!

My little girl is not so little anymore. I'm not so young either.

I love that girl. And I don't want her to grow a day older or take another step away from me!

But it's her birthday and I'm not going to cry.

(I did tear up a bit when she got on a giant horse for her first horse riding lesson -her present)

Instead of crying, we're throwing a fantastic cupcake party tomorrow. We're getting out our special birthday banner and she and ten of her best pals are decorating their own cupcakes and making felt cupcake shirts like these:

(we bedazzled a sample shirt)

Each girl is getting a white shirt of their own in these felt bags from the Dollar Spot at Target (they had ornaments on them, we peeled them off and glued felt cupcakes instead!) We're also making bottle cap necklaces and learning how to decorate real cupcakes-to eat, of course.

Of course, we needed some special birthday party announcements!

Thanks Pepper for customizing some delicious birthday invitations for free! If you need some invitations, I highly recommend her!

And, one of my sponsors Party Cupcake Ideas is helping us celebrate! (Do you need cupcake ideas for your parties? This is the place!) They are generously giving away something incredible: a cupcake charm and bracelet from Tiffany's!!! ($200 value).

I may have to break my rules and enter my own giveaway for this one!

Tiffany Cupcake Charm Necklace

Happy 10th Birthday, Honey!

Go, have a look and tell me your favorite kind of cupcakes as your entry.

This giveaway will end soon, don't miss out.

Happy Birthday to your big girl who will always be your little girl!!! I simply cannot believe that mine will be 10 this year (and my others will be 4 in 2 weeks and 7 in 5 weeks!)

My favorite cupcakes on that page are the ones with the chocolate dipped strawberries on the top and also the ones with the piggies. Yummy and cute!

I'm also wondering if that's your real phone number on the invitations and if you want to block that out... just in case you missed it. You blocked out where the party is and I would think that your phone number would rank right up there with other personal info not to put on the World Wide Web. I'm a protective (read: paranoid) mom and worry about that sort of thing.

Well, My fave cupcake is that Tiffany Charm, but on the website, I had GREAT hopes for the Star Wars cupcakes, but that was not what I was expecting...then I gandered to look at the Celebrity cupcakes and there was some sort of an internal error....what does that EVEN mean...so I was beginning to think that I wouldn't even be able to find a fave...but then I saw the sweetest little baby cupcake with little bottle, pacifier, and diaper pin formed out of marzipan or fondant or something and I knew I was HOOKED....there are alot of fun ideas on that site and I am going to subscribe to the feed...thanks for pointing it out!
And double digits is a big DEAL...TWO WHOLE HANDS....tell your daughter HAPPY BIRTHDAY...I always say, time flies when measured by growing babies...just don't go looking at the photo albums today....might be too much all at once!

The cinderella princess cupcakes were cute and we might have to do those for my three year old this year. We did the teddy bear pool party last year.

Happy Birthday to your daughter! It is my birthday today as well (but I am 42-yikes). I love the bracelet... my second daughter's nickname is "cupcake" so to have the bracelet and charm would just remind me of her little face. Love your blog!

You're a brave woman. My oldest will be 10 in a few months and I already have shed a tear or two. Your daughter is a lovely girl and I know you are proud. As for the cupcakes...I'm so excited about this website. I make cupcakes for every birthday and we have 5 a year. I'm starting to run out of ideas. Thanks so much!

Happy B-day to your daughter! Riding lessons as a gift is GREAT! I too was given those as a gift (Christmas gift) when I was a young girl as I have always loved horses. Now, 20 years later I am still riding and have horses of my own.
Anyhow, all those cupcakes look amazing! I really like the sunflower cupcakes and the lamb cupcakes too. Wish they had some horse ones!

Happy Birthday to your "ten-ager" as my Irish friend calls them!

I lost my spot at the computer as my husband and boys drooled over the game cupcakes trying to name as many as they could! Impressive.

Thanks for the entry!
