Two {More} Things I Can't Do Well

*UPDATE* Here are the two winners from yesterday's fun giveaway:  Winner of the BareFoot Home Essentials is Putting the Best Thing First! Congratulations. And winner of the $20 gift certificate from NikiPets Crochet 'n Things is Colleen from Mommy Always Wins!  Y'all email me, k?

{TWO Mom Store Giveaways Today!}

I know my limitations.

And I've spent a fair amount of time telling you about them.

Well. I was reminded of two more in my preparation for a couple of fabulous giveaways this week.

The first, involves all things sewing with a needle, or hook, as it were. But just because I can't do it, doesn't mean I'm not fabulous at buying it!

I love crocheted things. And I love this delightful Etsy store, NikiPets Crochet 'n Things!

Wouldn't this scarf be perfect for the cold weather?

Gray cozy scarf with fringe

And I LOVE this hat, although my 9 yo fashion diva daughter doubts I'm cool enough to wear it.

Crocheted Urban Visor Beanie

But, I have to tell you, this is probably my favorite item {and not because eating is something I excel at, although I'd challenge you any day}:

Custom Play Food for Mom4tot It would go perfect with my toddler's kitchen that I'm hiding in the garage for Santa.

Go, visit, Niki. Come back and tell me what you'd pick or gift with the $20 gift certificate she's giving away!

Today's other amazing Mom store is Barefoot Home Essentials.

Lora produces some delightful, all natural home cleaners. And I'm not even going to talk about my lack 'o talent in this area. Because it's none of your business. But I must say, just the thought of cleaning with natural Cinnamon and Spice All-Purpose cleaner, encourages me to want to clean.

And that's saying a lot.

I'm itching to smell this and try this one too. And if you could see my dirty mirrors, you'd wish it too.

Go visit Barefoot Home Essentials and tell me what you'd choose with the $20 gift certificate being given away today.

Please leave a comment FOR BOTH stores (2 comments). I will drawn a random winner for each Mom store on Thursday afternoon.

I love crocheted items as well. My granny was a whiz at it. She could crochet and watch t.v. at the same time. I covet the afghans she made for me.
I love the baby booties, although my babies are too big. But the beanies are too cute. And I love the custom birthday cupcake!

Anonymous said...

I love the smell of cinnamon and spice. I usually lean toward those types of candles; so the thought of my cleaners smelling like that is divine! I am loving the cinnamon and spice all purpose cleaner!

DairyQueen said...

oh, my two year old would adore that crocheted food bowl!

Jolanthe said...

I love that scarf you pictured - and for $14, that's great!! Well, either that, or I could try to sport one of those beanies...but a scarf might be safer!!

Jolanthe said...

Cinnamon and spice - that's just screaming "lovely" to me right now!

World's Greatest Mommy said...

Oh, the play food is sooo cute. I love the hats too, but I'd be torn over getting one for the toddler or the big girl.

Janelle said...

I like the women's visor beanie on Niki's site, and the lavender room refresher on Barefood Home Essentials - both are great sites! Thanks for the chance to win! :)

World's Greatest Mommy said...

The lemonshine window cleaner sounds divine, too! I get sick of that glass cleaner smell.

Audrey said...

So I didn't even have to go to the site to pick, but I did anyway! I would definitely get the basket of crocheted food! My sons love the felt stuff at Pottery Barn, but it's WAY too expensive. This would be a great alternative.

Audrey said...

The lavender bathroom touch-up spray sounds wonderful! With three boys in my house, I can't ever seem to get it smelling nice. This would help a lot!

jeanne @ Inspiring Ideas said...

The lavender disinfectant spray is my pick!

Muthering Heights said...

From the first store, I would totally get those crocheted veggies...they're ADORABLE!!!

Muthering Heights said...

From the second store, I like the idea of the cinnamon & spice all-purpose cleaner...I'm one of three people in the world who HATES the smell of lavender, so it would be a nice change!

megan said...

I would do the Lavender Bathroom Touch Up! I am an antibacterial nut,and hate that the stuff I love to you can be toxic. Sounds yummy smelling too!

megan said...

I love Niki's Grey Charcol Scarf-I love Grey. Grey and pink, grey and purple, happy happy. Her Pink Strawberry Beanie for a baby is sooo cute too!

Carlee said...

Oh this is a great site. I clean naturally everyday, but let's be real, who wants their home to smell like vinegar all the time?! I would pick the room freshening spray, to mask the smell of my homemade, cheap as heck, all natural, safe cleaner.

Tanya said...

LOVE the crocheted stuff! Let's see ... if I'm using the gc for the kids, I would definitely get the basket of play food. If I'm selfish and use it for me, then I'd get the white visor.

Anonymous said...

I love the crochet visor beanie, but I also love the scarf! And those oreo cookies-although my 2 year old might try to eat them! Holly bhc-law(at)juno(dot)com

My grandmother who passed away this year was always crotcheting something. This will be the first Christmas that I will not receive a handmade gift from her....anyway.

My daughter would love the Crocheted Urban Visor Beanie. She loves a cute hat and looks cute wearing them. Unlike her mother.

Tammy said...

I think the lemonshine window cleaners "sounds" (smells) wonderful. I love a clean window, but don't especially love them smell of windex.

From Niki's shop I would absolutely get the scarf you picked out (with these Texas winters it would be perfect!) and the 3 strawberries for two reasons 1> because I have a three year old son and and twin almost two year old daughters (one for each) and 2> my husband grew up/is from the strawberry capital of Texas (Poteet). I just found your blog and I love it.

Mandy said...

From Barefoot I would get one of everything! Between husband, kids, dogs and horses there is always something that needs to be cleaned! I just found your blog and I love it.

First of all, Niki is a great friend and wonderful person. I bought a hat for my little one last year as well as a crochet headband and they are both LOVELY. Her artistry is top-notch.

With $20 in her store, I would HAVE to have some of her amazing play food. I've been drooling (hee) over those since she put them in the store!

Megan@SortaCrunchy said...

Now, from Barefoot Home Essentials - I would love to have her whole Lavender Disinfecting line!! The bathroom is my nemesis, but some smell good SAFE stuff would surely help me out there.
