Sincerely 'Fro Me to You-The Most Memorable Birthday EVER!

Hi! Welcome to this week's issue of Sincerely 'Fro Me to You!  You can read along and enjoy everyone's entries or you can play along.  Read about it here. And if you're sneaking a peek from Feedburner, it might be worth it to go ahead and click on over. (I put this picture up for you, after all).

Do you ever look at a photo that captures a moment so completely that it takes your breath away?

I stared at this photo for 12 minutes before I scanned it yesterday.

This is my 22nd birthday.

I'm wearing a gorgeous white poet's gown,

Given to me by my hubby of exactly 42 hours.

Yes, this is my honeymoon.

I think the look on my face and my curled toes say it all.

The rest of this post? None 'o yo beezwax!

I'm trying to get my husband to let me paint the dining room purple. So this week's Sincerely 'Fro is all about him and pictures of his childhood.
So cute!

What a beautiful blushing bride you were. And the smile says it all. :)

Oh La La! I really love this sweet picture.

We have similar themes this week. Only I'm just playing a blushing bride. ;)

Aww - how adorable are you!?

I'm gonna have to scan in some old photos - this sounds like fun! :)

I'll have to figure out a way to take a bunch to the machine at the store without taking the kids with me - figuring out a machine I've never used before with 3 kids underfoot sounds like a bad idea! :P

Well, Well now, don't you look all cute and sassy.

Where did y'all go for your honeymoon.

Aren't you brave to actually take those pics and then share them in blog land!

I'll have to dig out some of our wedding/honeymoon pics sometime and scan them in.

What a pretty gown! This is a great picture. Thanks for sharing it.

Now I know what a "blushing bride" looks like!

Remember way back when at the begining of SFMTY I told you guys that I didn't have many young pictures and well I really dont'...so excuse the one I've shared it's not meant to bring down this wonderful fun carnival of yours, it's just one of the only ones I have at the tender age of 10 yrs.

Just precious! You glow in that picture. I have a 'glowing' pic too. It makes me sit and stare and remember too.

Amazing what looking back at photos of ourselves in our 20's can do..make us wonder how the heck our parents let us get married so young?!! I got married when I was 20, my husband barely 22! You look so happy then...it was before you envisioned 3 kids, right?!

Awwwww - sweet memories! What a great pic!

We were all so innocent once, weren't we? I'm now obsessed with finding my honeymoon pictures. I know they're somewhere. My "FMTY" for this week is going to be a cringe-worthy senior picture from 1986. Just gotta get to the scannner . . . . . stay tuned.

What a great pic. You know, I think the only picture I have from our honeymoon is a picture of my husband eating tacos from Jack in the Box.

We've promised each other a spectacular second honeymoon, just as soon as we get all these kids grown and gone.

The curled toes are the best.

Scandalous, Kristen, just scandalous! Yeah, I love the curled toes, too! What does it all mean?

I don't know what to say... I dare ask if that was the last pic of the night or are there some more floating around the internet that your bloggy friends should know about?

I love this! I am on the same wavelength as you, I suppose...
I have been wanting to talk about my man! Oh, there are more ways to say what all he does for me, but like you, I'll, um, keep it to myself! ;)

so beautiful AND romantic. My 1st night with hubby would be a pic, i could not post (not that I took one anyway) I was wearing something "fun" that I actually made- lets just say the covered all the right spots- if you ever mention the word "party platters" to him- he still blushes! I did however get video of his face when I walked out with it on. It was a night to remember! :-)

Curled toes...haha! I can totally relate. Love this blog carnival idea! I've been eyeballing it for a couple weeks, and finally got up the nerve... :)

Thanks for sharing that pic of you as a bride. I am sharing mine too, only 16 years ago.

i love your gown. I remember being so nervous, it was a good thing there wasn't a window in the bedroom where I changed.

You look wonderful! I love remembering back to the first days of being marriend. It was all so new and clear.

Well, well, well, look at that comehither expression on your face.

You got married at 22? I think that's amazing you have such a strong marriage. Maybe it's just my experience, but most people I know who got married young are not so happy. I'm glad you are.

Hi!

Stopping over from Crystal's (Life at the Circus). This post had me laughing out loud. We took a few pics on our honeymoon that I might just have to share.

This is a great carnival. I might have to break out the scanner! :)

I enjoyed my visit here today!
