Guitar Hero 3 Year-O

Debuting her new title "Cinderella, the Witch and Rudolph on a Froggy Night"

I think I'm going to like the threes, mostly. (I added the mostly part, because this weekend, she locked herself in the bathroom, decorated the walls with soap and then couldn't get out because of slippery hands. Oy.)

What's your favorite age?

I've been loving two (in girls), but today was a long string of "why, mama?" ... so now I'm not so sure. Four was my favorite in boys!

I can tell you after experience (4 that have been that age and one more up-and-coming) that 3 is NOT my favorite age. At the moment I am enjoying nearly-11, nearly-5 and nearly-2. I adore my 7 and 8-year-olds too, but those are kinda awkward years.
Blessings,
Shana

Did she say "Thanks!" at the end? Awesome...

I would say 4s are my favorite. Tantrums are starting to go down and the ability to not need me every single second starting to go up. I can definitely enjoy them more!

I guess I agree with everyone else because I am LOVING 4's. My oldest just turned 9, and I remember he was fun at 4 too. They are starting to communicate more, and they learn things so quickly. My little boy is developing a wonderful sense of humor. But he's still so loving and cuddly. I'm scared for 5 and kindergarten!

I have never really cared for the teen years, and probably feared them a little because I've always been more than just a little intimidated by teenagers. But ... I now have my very own, 16 yo, to be 17 in a month, yo son and I have loved every minute of his teen years. He's just the coolest kid and his friends are neat, thoughtful smart, funny and godly. My boy and his friends have taught me that it is possible to raise great teenagers and I enjoy them so. (And appreciate that they are willing to hang with me!)

So ... I can honestly say that my favorite age has been whatever age my boy is.

With that said, I sure do enjoy the antics of your littles ... it takes me back!

I love 4 yo's - the closer to 3 the better, when they get closer to 5 they start to loose that innocence that I love. That being said I haven't found an age I don't like.

How adorable is she! They are really cute at 3, because they are learning to talk and they say the cutest things. But my 2 both had rough 3-year-old years! They begin to really test the discipline system, and my daughter had real temper issues. But I have to say that I have loved every year, all the way up to number 14 which we are in now. They just go through them all so fast!

Hands down, the perfect age is 'between sitting up and saying no' - that's when my kids were the most fun!

My daughter's favorite age was 4- without a doubt. For my son- it was 5.... at those ages, they were fun, found great joy in every new experience, could express themselves, understood rules and limits... AMAZING ages.

Now if you want to talk about least favorite ages... my daughter is currently NINE--- and we are really struggling--- seems like the pre-teen years are starting early!! :)

Enjoy your 3 year old.. she will be grown up before you know it!

I am loving four months!!! I forget this every time but it is the age when you can distract them with a smile... they have to stop what they are doing... even when they are so tired and nodding off they will stop mid-nod, even when they are famished and mid-feed, just one smile and they will stop to smile back at you... So funny and I love it!!!

i just have 1 son, age 5 and I can honestly say the older he gets the more I enjoy him & his age - he's old enough now that he can do things for himself, but he still needs me a little bit! And we can have actual conversations! I miss the younger years, but I'm really enjoying preschool years! :)

Each age has different joys and different struggles but I really love the baby snuggles and giggles of the first year, followed by a close second of the 1 year old stage. I guess the little ones and their cuteness win me over everytime.

What a sweet sweet video! And, I, too am amazed at the "Thanks!" at the end!
My little girl will turn 4 in March. I have LOVED the end of 3rd year - less tantrums, so much creativity, the question as changed from, "WHY?" to "Right, Mama!" and so much conversation and cuddling! I LOVE this age!
Enjoy!

I loved the Terrific Threes and the Fabulous Fours the most. My boys are now 26,16 and 9. Yea I know...just happened that way. The teens ARE THE WORST. Although my oldest had awesome teen years and my now 16 year old is awesome too but thinks I know nothing. Sometimes I think everything I ever taught him went in one ear and out the other. My nine year old is pretty awesome too though. This is a good age but I agree its awkward in some ways. I so love these boys!

Oh, that is adorable!

I kind of like whatever age he is currently. Every year I think, I wish he could stay this age. :)

Usually 12-18 months (so far), when they are discovering so many new things but still have that baby aura.

So far, four has been my favorite. Threes were not kind to my family, but at four they just want to be helpful. I agree the teenage years are not my favorite. I have three ages, 14, 12, and 9. With all that said, each age has good and bad. You just have to enjoy the good and survive the bad!

I am in agreement. The 4-6 year old stage was my favorite! My sons, now 24,22,20 and 15 have grown or are growing into fine young men. The teen years are very challenging. Just hold on tight and pray for lots of wisdom!!!

I loved 2 with my son. Three was horrible!

I'm encouraged to hear that 4 was good for so many. 3 has been a little rough in this household. My 3 1/2 year old son didn't start throwing temper tantrums til we hit 3. I am enjoying my daughter at 18 months. She's like a little sponge just soaking up life and language and it's just so fun to hear her start to make sense of things and communicate with us. I have found joy and struggles at ever age so far.

I especially liked when my son was an infant - from about one week (when I finally relaxed a little) until about 3 months. I LOVED being everything to him. Now he is just TOO BUSY to stop and snuggle for very long (at 2.5 years). I relish every hug, cuddle, and kiss I get!!

Is she singing into the whammy bar?!?!? Too adorable - and funny!

Just when I think the current age of my kids is my favourite, they grow and then that age is my favourite! I have been blessed with two very happy healthy children - age 3 and 6 months.

I do find I am missing the newborn stage lately though - with all the newborn baby smells, sounds, random squirms and stretches and cuddles while sleeping on my shoulder - even with the sleep deprivation that goes all with a new baby!

Well I only have 6 years to go by since my oldest just turned 6... I also have a 3 year old.... 2 and 3 are not my favs 2 because of potty training which I hate (I think it is from working in the 2 year old room at daycare in college for toooo many years) and 3 because we have lots of tantrums!! But now that she is an older 3 (4 in 4 mos) she is better! So I would say 4 and 5 so far my son was sweet at those ages too and my daughter is becoming sweet again!!

Totally cute! It reminds me of my two year old who picked up her 4 year old sisters play guitar and had a jam session - what a little rock star. :)

I can only speak for up to age four but so far they are super fun at 2 and 4 - once you get past the power struggles and stubbornness... ;)
