Ninety days. Three Months.
The entire Bible.
Can it be done?
Amy from Mom's ToolBox, will be leading other bloggers and their readers through The Bible in 90 Days with some fabulous resources.
She sent my family the materials and they are amazing. While I won't be blogging about our journey, do to some other commitments, I wanted to tell you about this wonderful idea!
If this interests you, learn more here.
Integrity Kids (worship music for kids) sent me an awesome selection of kid's CD's. We've listened to a few and they are so good! I love the instrumentals to help my toddler sleep and the songs with Bible versus for my older kids. Go check them out! (Make sure you visit my community in the next few weeks, I'm going to be randomly choosing participants to send some Integrity Kids music to!)
Happy Sunday, y'all.

For what it's worth, the Old Testament includes a commandment that the High Priest of the Israelites read the entire first five books of the Bible aloud to the Israelites every seventh year (Deut. 31:10-13. The practice is later described in Nehemiah 8:1-3.
The entire reading took one day. Granted, Hebrew takes fewer words to express a concept than does English, but if you can theoretically read Genesis-Deuteronomy in a single day out loud, then the whole thing should definitely be doable in three months.
I dream of reading the bible in 90 days!
I am on the slow and steady wins the race plan! I read 5 chapters a day, it takes a long time to finish this way, but it's what I can do at this stage of life.
