I've always had a secret love for modern things.
I love the sleek lines, the sharp edges, the funky colors.
It makes this traditional girl want to grow up into a modern girl!
Recently, All Modern Baby, contacted me about reviewing a product or two. I informed them that I was fresh out of babies. They pointed me towards their Mom and Dad product line. (But just in case a baby is ever dropped on my front step, I'd get this and this and this! And if I needed a high chair, I think this Stokke Tripp Trapp is groovy!)
I'm so glad they pointed me to their grownup stuff.
My family room is black and white without a speck of color.
We live in that room. Our indoor/outdoor rug used to be a creamy off white. It has been gray for a long time. I've always wanted to add a modern touch to the room.
I'm thinking green.

What do you think? I think the pop of green on the floor and the sofa will make the room more fun, less formal. My 9 year is concerned because black, white and green don't match.
I may have handicapped her future in modern home decor.

I love modern - this store has so many nice things it was hard to choose just one but...I think the Klick Desk & Cube Chair (in green) is adorable & functional-would look fantastic in my lil' guy's room!
It would jog pleasant memories to have the Saarinen table and Tulip chairs in our eating area. . . because in 1961 my-mom-with-great-taste had this set in our North Dakota farm kitchen.

Wow, I want one of everything in that store! One of my favorites is the Set of Four Adhesive Unfinished Decorative Wall Circles - I'm trying to do up my daughter's room and those would look awesome in there!

The products look really nice. I do love that high chair you picked out. I think the green would look great, I love that color. If not green I would go with red! Your room will look great with any additional color added.

I love the pillows and rugs at Modern Baby. I just painted my LR chocolate brown so I want to use blue accents and I love the Habitat Pillow in blue!

I beg to differ with your 9 year old. My family room is green, black and white, with splashes of brown and orange here and there. Wonder how she'd deal with that? heh.

I would choose one or many of the Rubber Ducky's. Wow it would be so hard to choose. I love all the different colors and themes. As for the rug. I love the green and think it would really make the room.

We are getting ready to move into a new home where Lil Man and Lil Bit will be sharing a room. There are several pieces of Wall Art I would love to have to decorate their room.

OMG I am in love with the wall decals! I really like the Nightly News (owls) and the tree! (my boys would love the Transport decals!)
I think the Kenneth Wingard - Star Grande Mobile in Polished Steel would look really cool as wall art, rather than as a mobile. Modern, but not overly so.
