My heroes don't wear capes.
Their faces aren't plastered on posters.
They don't fly or wear stretchy pants. Unless they want to.
My heroes are Moms: Loving, creative mothers using their gifts. Lisa Leonard is one of those women.
One of the highlights of the Blissdom blogging conference, was sitting next to and chatting with Lisa and her twin sister Chrissy (of flipflops and applesauce). When I think of talented, lovely women who are dressed in grace, I think of them.
Lisa makes beautiful jewelry because she is a beautiful person. Every piece is hand-crafted by caring, able hands. Her works of art are unique, timeless and rich in design.
Meeting the face behind the name was so fun! And connecting with her as another mother was very special.
I was amazed at her generosity when she encouraged me to choose jewelry, not to give, but to keep. I chose simple stacking rings (like these) engraved with my children's names:
But her kindness doesn't stop there, she is offering one lucky reader a $50 gift certificate to her store today!
Please go visit her elegant shop and tell me what you'd choose.
Contest ends late Wednesday.
I will announce the winner on Thursday.

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 296 Newer› Newest»Man, it's all great! I do love that "Lucky Mommy" necklace you posted...'cause that's how I feel every day!
I thinkmy favorite is the "bloom" necklace. sweet, simple and elegant. I love it!
Everything is so beautiful there. I think I would choose the tiny squares with my 2 granddaughters names on them and give it to my daughter. She is a wonderful mother and I love the way she is raising my grandchildren.
Thank you for sharing this site, I will be going back.

Oh, I'd love the bloom necklace with three flowers! (One for each of my kids.) Beautiful stuff!
I covet the itty bitty hearts necklace
Everything is SO cute. I really like the stacking rings!
Ok I have a long list I would have to choose from. Here's what I LOVE:
Bloom
itty bitty hearts
Riveted Flower
tiny squares
Freshwater Pearl Earrings
Stackable Rings
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pick me!!!! :) :)
Everything is beautiful! I would choose the Love Bird necklace, cause thats what we need more of.
How pretty! I love it all! I would pick the Original necklace with my girls' names on it!
So, I stumbled on your blog a while back and can I just say...Love you! :) Really! You make me laugh so much!
So, about the necklaces..Oh I love it all! :) BUT, if I have to pick one, I'd pick the teeny tiny initials. They're classy and simple enough to wear every day. They're just calling my name!
I would either choose the "Sweet Simple Bird"necklace, or the "Little Feet" (Lucky Mommy) necklace. Thank you for the entry! :)
If I must choose, it would have to be the find joy necklace. But there are about 5 other things I could pick! Lovely pieces!
LOVE the lovebird necklace. super adorable
I want the open circle necklace with my kids names on it. All four names fit. I know this because I have wanted this FOREVER. In fact, if you don't pick me, I am asking for it for Mother's Day. But PICK ME! :)
I would totally pick the Faith, Hope, Love necklace. It's so beautiful. What an amazing woman!
Catrina in Oregon
I love Sweet, Simple Bird.
I have been in love with the lovebird necklace for awhile now!!
her pieces are gorgeous! i like the concentric circles necklace. great giveaway!
I'm terribly torn between the sterling cuff, which holds up to 40 letters, which is exactly the number I need to write all 4 kid's names, (but only if I do nicknames) and teeny tiny initials. Oh, and then there's the open circle necklace. Do I really have to choose only ONE?
I'd like to get either the Sweet, simple bird or the Bloom pendant. Both are gorgeous!
I have looked at her styles many many times and it's soooo hard to decide. hmmmm if I HAD to pick I'd say Bloom and see if I could get it with 4 flowers, as I have 4 babies of my own.... beautiful.
I'd like to get either the Sweet, simple bird or the Bloom pendant. Both are gorgeous!
There really is a lot to choose from there! I'm going through some medical stuff in my family (myself included), so I like the courage necklace for obvious reasons. But, then again, the lucky mommy necklace is pretty awesome, too! But I'd have to pick the sweet simple bird. My grandfather's favorite hymn was "His Eye is On the Sparrow" and it reminds me of that, and the meaning of that hymn is what really gives me courage.
I love the 'find joy in the unexpected'.
Itty Bitty Hearts!
I would so choose the stackable ring. I love anything with my daughters' name.
I have been following Lisa and her sister for a while now. I love both of their blogs and getting to meet them person would be an absolute joy! It is so hard to pick just one of Lisa's little treasures....I love the "Courage" necklace, but also the "Find Joy" with the freshwater pearl, plus the fact that $10 goes to the CdLS Foundation....too hard to choose...I love it all!
I would chose the "My Heart Necklace." The description asks "Doesn't every mom feel this way?!" Well, this mom does! My son is the light of my life, an aspiring teacher, a believer that sees the good in people, a kind and gentle soul that continues to make me the proudest mom! This would be a gift to him from me. 24 years ago when I discovered I was expecting, the first and only thought I had was that I would never be alone, ever again. My child's heart would be in mine forever. I love my husband dearly, but the love a mother has for a child is incredible...and indescribable.
whew that was hard to choose!
i think i'd have to pick the 'find joy' necklace with the stackable rings as a close runner up.
the find joy would be a good reminder for me in the years to come as i continue to pursue my education. sometimes legal studies can be overwhelming and disheartening but each day, as i cross the bridge on the way to school, i find joy in the beautiful view of vancouver and the mountains.
what beautiful jewelry - lisa has an amazing talent!
I have been coveting one of her pieces for a while now! I would choose the teenie tiny initials or wish necklace. I love them all!
I like the "bloom" necklace.
I absolutely love her beautiful jewelry. I would choose the original necklace with my boys' names on it. Lovely.
lovebird necklace.- I would love this. It's simply beautiful!
ashlomb at yahoo dot com
Bloom for sure! It's so simple and it's not only a statement, but an instruction...something that will be good to remember each day!
What a lovely giveaway!
I would get the keychain and have a message put it on it for my husband, who is deployed, to make a care package extra special. :-)
Thanks for the opportunity!
I love "The Open Circle" necklace! I would have the words, "Faith, Hope and Love" imprinted on it.
This past year has been so hard for us financially and I have clung to this saying to get me through each day!
Thank you for inspiring to me a better mother and wife, even if we are "THAT FAMILY!" You know the ones that play with the handicap buttons on doors and do flips on the security bars at the entrance to the stores. Yep, that was us!
I love the "bloom" necklace, as well as the "sweet simple bird" -- thanks for the spark of hope that I might win one of them!
I love Lisa's work-I ordered a necklace for word of the year last year, I always get compliments on it....I think I would choose the teeny tiny intials-one for each kiddo!
Lisa mentioned choosing the piece that first catches your eye... while all her work is beautiful the lovebird necklace was a favorite. Her designs are simplistic and darling; I will definitely keep her website in mind for gift giving!
I'll choose Mini Open Circle Necklace as it's lovely.

Wow. Well whether or not I win I think I may have to place an order! I am not one for jewelery in general but my husband has bought me a few trinkets to remind me of our daughter but I have fallen in love with the True Love Hearts necklace. It is so simple yet so meaningful, something that I could feel comfortable wearing with a sweatshirt or for a nicer night out! I will definitely have to show hubby the beautiful creations by Lisa Leonard. Thanks!
amanda_bryant@snet.net
The itty bitty hearts necklace is my favorite! Thanks for the chance to win!
There are so many I would love to have for my own!
I think if I won a gift certificate for Lisa's gorgeous stuff I might have to get the Tiny Feet necklace and pass it on to my dear friend... she's expecting her first baby this spring after trying for more than five years. That would be the perfect gift for her!
I love her jewerly...the rings with the names of them are wonderful.

Love the stackable rings :)
They are all so simple and beautiful that it's hard to choose. I think though I would go for the pearl earrings for my grandmother, who is now 82 and got her ears pierced just 5 years ago. She loves pearls and she's had 2 of her four children die in the last five years. I think she deserves pearls. Lots and lots of pearls.
I'll take one of everything.. Seriously, the items are wonderful. I love so many, but the courage necklace and the find joy necklace are up in the top 10.
It's just too much to chose from!! I love the keychains and the necklaces and I'd love to give my new little grandson a sweet spoon.
I love the bloom necklace too. Everything is great though!
I think I would do the stackable rings. Or no, the lucky mommy necklace. Or a keychain. No, the rings. Defintely the rings. Maybe. OK, myabe you shouldn't choose me because I'll never be able to decide. Totally kidding, choose me.
I've always wanted a charm bracelet so that is what I would choose. What a great giveaway.
What a fantastic company, and lady. Thanks for turning me on to her website and blog. I think I would have to choose the riveted flower or maybe the bloom. I don't have any kids yet, even though we are hoping to adopt. But I SPOIL my nephews and I would love to have something with their names on it. Thanks so much to you (and her) for offering this FANTASTIC giveaway.

Such a difficult decision over such beautiful items! My favorites are the XO necklace and the True Love Hearts... I think I see some Mothers Day gifts here!
Oh wow. Pick just ONE? I don't know . . . the pearl earrings are elegant, the bloom necklace is sweet. But I think my favorite pieces are the tiny squares or the riveted heart. Oh, man am I in trouble. I must have one of these . . . .
