A Work of Art {Giveaway}

*Update* Congrats to Jane Anne and Andreah!
The rest of you, go visit Phokki because they are offering everyone 30% off all orders thru Valentine's Day. Code: VDay

I like art.

But the kind I value won't end up in a gallery or fetch a high price at an auction.

I love capturing pictures of my family and turning them into art.

Because
decoupage is my friend. (It also covers a multitude of sins).

But I recently discovered very affordable art done by real artists. Imagine that! They put my 'art' to shame, y'all.

Phokki produces pieces of art from your digital prints. They can take your ordinary photo that you upload and create original caricatures, cool vector pop art, unique manga art, plus several other choices.

Look what they did for me! I wanted to capture this picture of my parents (two of my favorite people in the whole world) reading The Christmas Story to my kids on Christmas Eve:

*************************************
Isn't it amazing? This illustration was hand drawn by the artists at Phokki. If you compare the two images carefully, you can see that the second is unique, even better. The prices are unbelievable too. I can't wait to have this print framed for my parents.

Today Phokki is giving two of my readers gift certificates to style your digital photos into art. Plus, they are offering everyone 30% off all orders thru Valentine's Day. Code: VDay

So, go visit, play around, and come back and tell me what you'd choose. My tip: Give your mother-in-law pink hair (it will make you feel better).

Giveaway closes Thursday afternoon.

Visit Works for Me Wednesday for more tips.

Thanks!

Hey, my 3 kids had the same Christmas jammies! Actually I should say have, as they are still wearing them. I've been really happy with them, they are so soft, cute and reasonably priced for the quality! Anyway, enough about jammies -- I love the illustration!

I do graphite portraits from photographs. It's much more realism than I ever imagined myself doing, but I truly enjoy it. I love the vector illustration they did for you! I enjoy that too. I just need more hours in a day and more energy with which to operate! I love your blog and found it through WFMW. I don't have a tip this week, but love yours. Thanks!
