I love me a good porch.
Y'all know I wanted to buy this old house, just for the porch.
This is mine:
Not exactly my dream. But I make do.
This is the porch I dream about every Fall:
I see I'm not alone in my unhealthy affection for pumpkins.
I like this one too. It brings out my inner farmer:
And wouldn't this look smashing on a porch?

I have a HUGE porch that needs some help! Care to come over and help me decorate it?? Hee hee. I'm loving all the pumpkins.
Your porch looks way better than my big porch that I have done nothing with!!!!!!!
I left a home with a nice porch complete with railing & ceiling fan for almost no porch at all. However, I left the 'burbs for a rural home on a lake and a deadend dirt road. All in all, good trade.
But I still feel your pain!
check out my friend's fancy pumpkin blog http://hekeepsmesinging.blogspot.com/2008/10/fancy-pumpkin-ideas.html
I'm a sucker for a front porch to. I love to decorate for fall on my front porch, it's my favorite season to decorate.
The pumpkin on your front door was my favorite on your whole porch. What a keeper!
Blessings, Whitney
Oh I love a good front porch too. Mine was huge, but I did not decorate hardly at all. Never had time, had to pay for that big front porch!!! Now, now that I have the time, don't have the money. I truly enjoy the way these look. I do have a pumkin outside...only because it has not made it's way inside the house from the grocery store!
I think your porch looks great! I love the numbers in the pumpkins. How cute is that?
Yep, I'm a sucker for big porches too. Great pictures and great post. I had to go back and take a look at the old house with the porch you loved. I can see why you loved it so.
K-
cute post title :} Love the second picture, I so could like there also.
You have a seriously great blog!
Wow, I don't even have a porch! Porches are uncommon in the desert if my neighborhood is typical.
Very beautiful porches. Wish they were mine. Love the bottom picture!
I am totally with you girlie. My dream house has a big wrap around porch and would def have tons of pumpkins and hay bales out in the fall.
The one that you dream about is now going to become my dream...wow! All I can say is that at $4 a pumpkin and only slightly less for squash, it's going to be after I win a lottery. Lovely photos! Your own porch looks great!
Lovely porches! Mine has nothing right now - quite sad. I used up all my creativity trying to have a couple of fall displays inside!
Wow, I need to get myself out to sweep my sad looking porch!
I love how the pumpkins look on the steps! Very nice!
I love porches, too. And you should know yours is still much better than my sorry excuse. I thin they call it a "stoop" out here. Hmmm. Just as attractive as it sounds. ;)
I love all the porches! That last one, I am trying something similar hope to have it up soon. :)
I love your porch! And it is decorated very cute but I know what you mean I dream of a bigger porch too.
Fun!
I loved the photo with all the pumkins - just because I'm crazy for pumkins myself.
Love your blog header. Great job :-)
Ooooooh.....
Ahhhhh.....
Love me a good ol' house!
I LOVE your entry area! And I love all your other photos, too, especially the pumpkins with the house #'s---how creative is that! Isn't this Parade of Porches fun! Patti
I admit it- I am porchless. That does not mean I can't appreciate a good porch! Great job with your porch photos and loved your humorous commentary. I am a first time visitor to your blog but I will be back!
You are right - EVERY house should have a porch like that! Meanwhile, I guess we'll just have to enjoy looking at other folks' porches! Thanks for sharing the pics!
