I think the Red Hat ladies are awesome. I will look into the requirements to join!!! Now that I am retired, who knows, maybe it is the club for me!

I love the story in which it was founded.

One of my best friends is about 10 years older than me. We always kid that when she is in the Red Hat society that I still wont be able to get in, that I will just have to wear the purple hat. She has also threatened that she is going to wear gold lame' pants and shoes with her red hats. I told her I would not take her to the "Wal Marts" looking like that. :)

No kidding, you don't want to get in their way. We have the most delightful group of Red Hatters at our church.

We have a Women's Health Fair every year here in Lansing, and the Red Hat ladies are always there. They look like they have so much fun together! I hope I can join some day :)
