And You Thought Voting for The President was Important...

*UPDATE* The poll quit working early this morning, so I decided to call the contest.  It looks like these are our winners (in order of highest votes): Normal to Natalie, Marcy @ The Glamorous Life, and Just Keeping it Real. Congrats, ladies. Please email me your address and your preference of signs. Thanks to everyone who participated and voted! It was fun.

Well.

I must say I had a hard time narrowing your comments down to six seven finalists in yesterday's little contest.

Because y'all are funny. Plain and simple.

And at dark-thirty last night, as I was jotting down some of my favorites, I was sorta wishing I'd bought 76 of those signs.  One for each of you.

But I think my hubby would have put me on home decor probation for eternity. Which I understand is a very long time!

So, here they are.... (some of my favorites were duplicates, so kudos for great minds, even though I didn't pick them):

Please vote your choices (you can vote for your three favorite sayings). I will close the poll on Wednesday at noon (CST), at that time the top 3 sayings will win one of my 3 signs!

Now those are funny. How can you resist the "do it the way your wife told you," one... priceless.

I can't believe I am in the running!!!

And do you know I have been coveting the 'run-a-muck' sign since I saw it online about 6 months ago? Yup I saved a copy of it in My Pictures too!!! I am weird like that....

Hope I win. But they are all clever...

Vote for me!!!
Motherhood: Nothing like the brochure.

"Don't start none, there won't be none."

I've been lurking for a long time, but I think I'll join in on this. I missed your contest, but this sums up life around here:

"Welcome to the nut house. Admission is free. Sanity is not refundable."

Very funny and I needed a laugh!

Matter of fact I think I will steal that first idea and put it on a T-shirt for my husband.
You think he would wear it? He could be standing next to the guy that is lost who won't ask for directions.

Oh dang, I missed the giveaway. My saying is probably inappropiate anyway. :)

Remember, we are a military family. We have a sign that reads...

An old soldier lives here. With his privates.

I have two that I say alot....no signage in my house, but here's the one I really like:

1. Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

Ok, after further reading, I'm throwing my second one at you even though it is all too late....

"Do not eat your brother's wienner"

If I had a dime for every time I said this.........
