Sincerely 'Fro Me to You-If Darth Vader was Their Father

*UPDATED TO ADD* I forgot to mention that you don't want to miss next week's 'Fro Me To You because I have an AMAZING giveaway from the blessed 80's.  I'm SO excited about it.  And it's just for linky participants, so your odds are very good!

Thanks for joining me today!  Some call this a circus, others call it being thrown under a bus, I call it home (a.k.a. Sincerely 'Fro Me to You.) Read guidelines for joining here.

A year ago, we visited California on a family vacation.  We visited the beautiful beaches and the streets of Rodeo Drive. We also visited Disneyland.

And although I have dozens of 'Mickey and me' photos, there is one that I hold dear.  This framed picture graces both of my children's dressers. Because I don't want them ever to forget-----how they would look if they had been born to Darth Vader:

While I held our baby, my hubby and older kids stood in a long line to to ride the Star Wars ride.  Santa brought all six movies a couple of years ago and so you could say there are some avid Star Wars fans in our home.

I waited in the gift shop since the ride emptied there (very clever marketing).  I couldn't help but watch people line up behind the camera with the blue screen in the background to see what they would look like as Star Wars characters.  It was so fun.

So, of course, my kids wanted to give it a shot.

You don't even want to know how much we paid for those little souvenirs!

But as you can see, it was really priceless. And I think my Princess Lea and Luke Skywalker are better than the originals!

I love this pic!!! I would love to have one with my 2 Star Wars fans. I think it's neat that my brother & I loved the series when it first came out and now my children do too. Of course, my brother & I were fans of the good guys. My son is a fan of Darth Vader. Why?!?!

Oh my goodness. My kids would have a fit if they saw this photo. I am not showing it to them. However, they would be quite cute in it.

They are HUGE Star Wars fans.

I am number 4!!! Woo Hooo!

Okay that is funny. We live by Disneyland and go (embarassed to say) every other week! And I have never, ever, ever let them do this. They want to....but their mom is CHEAP about these things. Instead I just photoshop them on characters bodies at home!!!!

Still loving this linky. Best there is.
And this week? Oh gosh wait till you see my picture. You want fries with that honey?

You think my 9'4" baby was big?? His "little" sister was 9' 15". That's why we stopped at two. I could NOT risk another 11 ounce jump in weight. Lil' sis nearly killed me - lol.

We are Star Wars fans here, too. How fun - I didn't know they had that there. Another reason for us to head to Disneyland! :)

Your pic turned out very cute!

My 4 year old has recently become quite interested in Star Wars, constantly asking my husband about it. He has yet to see the movie, but knows all about being a Jedi Knight.

This is the first week since you began Fro' Me to You, that I had to skip... I knew what I wanted to post, but other things came up last night and I didn't get it done...instead I did one that I've had in my back pocket for a bit as it didn't take as much time to work on. I miss Fro' Me to You though, and will def be back next week... would have been there without the giveaway to entice me you know... it is by far my fav carnival!

We're HUGE Star Wars fans here. I must get one of those pictures! (With my kids' faces - no offense - it'd just be creepy with someone else's kids).

Wow, that is fabulous!!

My husband was twelve when Star Wars came out and he collected all the action figures which my kids now spend hours playing with, acting out battles and categorizing!!

I love that photo!!

They make an adorable outerspace couple. A photo to cherish, always! I've been a Star Wars freak since 1977. I have Star Wars nut-kids, too. One of them wants to audition for the school play by acting out a Darth/Anakin scene.

THey definitely were better looking than the originals! I love Disney Land. I used to live an hour from there and would go just about every month. That was back when the price of admission was not so steep.

VERY CUTE photo!!! I would love to do something like that with my kids.

We are HUGE Star Wars fans. In fact two of our cats are named after Star Wars characters (Padme' and Anakin). Our hamster was almost named Obi but it's a girl not a boy (so we named her Lucy).
