Good luck with that! Introducing a new feline is never smooth in our world, either.

Cats are so very much like women.

Our original cat never did gracefully accept the fact that we adopted two (buy one/get one the day we went in for my dd's bday gift... you think you're a sucker?!) kittens when she was 8 years old. She pretty much did exactly what you are showing for 5 years.

Ours were buds within a month. Hope yours are too - or at least that no one gets in the middle of an "altercation"!

Isn't it funny how cats take so long to warm up to each other... and some never do!

Now my dogs - never a problem... instant best buddies!

Awwwwwwww. I hope everyone (or everycat) gets used to your new visitor soon!

Oh my gosh I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT.... I am laughing so stinkin' hard. You need to put that one on Kim's Homesteaders Heart Funny Fridays. I am still laughing. I might have to just link you up myself...I can't quit laughing. That is just too good. That is exactly what that cat said, I know it!!!

Poor Alice, we would love to expand our kitty family but I don't think our first kitty would approve. Maybe Alice could start a support group for displaced first born kitties. You know she thinks you don't love her anymore.

I am positive that is exactly what poor Alice is thinking! Our cat Annabelle has only been with us for a few months, but I'm pretty sure that's exactly how she feels about Dixie, the dog we've had for two years! Annabelle actually charges her! Cats are so funny! Hope they become buddies soon!
