The Girls
(my sister, me, our mom, our daughters)
If I could choose just one word to describe my mother it would be:
Steadfast
Can you do it? Can you use just one word to describe your mom? Not a sentence or two.
ONE WORD.
Leave a one word comment that epitomizes your mom or mother-figure.

How recent was this pix,it's a great one!
Supportive.
This is a wonderful challenge post, I hope you don't mind if I borrow it.
Godly (not as in "I think she's God"... as in a Godly woman, a good Christ-follower and example; I know that's more than one word, but I thought I should probably clarify. So yeah. Godly.)
Heroic :)
What a great idea! Although one word just isn't enough...
My mom passed away last month and I was amazed at the number of people who came out of the woodwork saying what an incredible, gracious, and positive woman she was! I would say my mom was always encouraging. (You can see a picture of her on my blog if you'd like to take a look. It's my favorite. I was four.)
I love your blog BTW. It lifts me every time I stop by. Thanks.
I can't do it! I just can't...because she is so many things to me....so I guess all I can come up with is:
MINE
Nutty!
And I love her for it.
But you already knew that from my posts about her this week, right?
Happy Mother's Day
Hard-working
Steadfast
She just goes no matter what the circumstances.
You have such a beautiful family! I love the times I can get all the woman together! Happy Mothers Day!
~CRAZY~
My mom is a nut - in a good way - and everyone who knows her agrees. She makes life :) for everyone!
Faithful, dedicated, sensitive.
Yes, I know I used three words... but I'm describing three moms. Stop by my blog and see!
Happy Mother's Day, Kristen! Thank you for the encouragement and laughter you give to all the moms (me!) who read your blog.
Neurotic. Do doubt about it. But if I could choose a second word it would be Hypochondriac.
healer.

Crazy!
I'd have to go with crazy as well.
Everytime I say I was in 16 schools by the time I graduated from college.....everyone says "Military?" and I reply, "Nope, crazy mom!"
Thanks, I may have to do a link and do this as well.
Infallible.
Definitely.
Consistent!
Tomorrow I have a whole post dedicated to my mom! Such a fun blog you have...come visit sometime!

Human
Just now as an adult I see her not just as a mom, but a woman with a life, dreams, conflicts, emotions going on that didn't revolve around me.
patient
Creative!
Mine :)
Found you through BlogHer. Stop by if you get a chance. Thanks.
Strong.
Umm... Wow, this is harder than I thought it would be. I guess if I have to choose one word it would be "Dependable". Sounds boring, but really it's not. I've always been able to depend on her, all thru the years. Even now, and even when she doesn't always agree with me.
Stubborn.
I hope that you have a very happy Mother's Day! Be blessed Kristen.

My Mom? Flighty.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Godly.
My mom has passed on now, but the one word that came to mind JanMarie aready used.
Mine.
Another -
Unconditional.
In love. She raised me as a single mom and taught me unconditional love.
My mom in one word? Unfortunately that word would be "unhappy". Makes me sad, but it's the truth.
Confident. It's one of many things I admire about her.
patient.
with 5 kids in 6 years she learned quickly about patience.
we also quickly learned patience.
What a lovely photo,I hope you had a wonderful Mother's day!
I have so many words to decribe my mother, when she was alive. But now that she has passed I could only think of one..... Angel.
What a great idea.
My word would be
-everything-
Came over from MommyFest. I love your blog!
